• At the Mayor of Southwark’s Common Good Trust, we are dedicated to helping individuals and families living in the borough of Southwark. We look to help all those who are suffering from financial and material difficulties.

  • We provide grants to those in need, to provide essential goods and services, such as repairs to housing and household goods. For example, we may provide families with repairs to their household, such as heating or plumbing, or with new essential household goods, such as washing machines or boilers.

  • We aim to help all of those in need. Most of those we help are families with immediate need and little financial security. Many of those we help have complex medical needs which exacerbate their situation.

We particularly aim to help members of disadvantaged groups: homeless people, people with learning difficulties, older people, those with physical disabilities, people living in poverty, at-risk women and young people, refugees and migrants, and members of disadvantaged minority groups.

We are dedicated to not turning away individuals and families in need, on any basis of ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, or sexuality.
